Computer Nerds Went On Strike

What if all the computer nerds went on strike? No more help desk, no more calling you’re buddy who knows everything there is to know about computers for help when the printer isn’t working. There would be nobody to help you with your computer problems, what then? Would you urge the people who the nerds hard their beef with to settle it quickly or want them to hold out because computer nerds have it made already?

Being of the computer nerd group myself I would have to say that we do not have it made. I work long hours for salary, so no overtime. I don’t take as many vacations as I should. We are always on call and every one thinks we have it made. If all us computer nerds went on strike there would be a big halt to a lot of work since I get about 3 calls a day for stupid problems. Lets see how well the internet would run without all of us computer nerds constantly working to keep it running. You think it is easy keeping all of a companies computers working without problems while people download spyware and viruses. If we all went on strike I would give it a week before the computer illiterate beg for us to come back. I may be a little predigest on this but hey, you try resolving all a companies computer issue day after day and see how you feel at the end of the week.
